On 17 February 2023, Kyiv Customs at the Zakhidnyi customs office conducted an excursion for the participants of the customs brokerage courses organised by the Association of Customs Brokers of Ukraine.
The excursion, which turned into a practical course in customs, was conducted by Oleg Pakhomov, Deputy Head of the Zakhidnyi Customs House.
The participants got acquainted with:
✅ The algorithm of broker’s actions: from the intention to import goods, submission of the EE declaration to the release of goods into free circulation;
✅ Responsibility of the broker;
✅ Sampling;
✅ Conclusion of the laboratory;
✅ Physical and customs inspections;
✅ Types of warehouses and much more.
At the end of the event, Ilya Zibnytskyi, Director of the Association of Customs Brokers of Ukraine, presented the participants with certificates of completion of the course.
❗️The practice of introduction of future brokers to the profession through a tour of customs, was held for the first time.
The interest of the participants inspires us not to stop there.
