Results of the meeting with the representative of the World Customs Organization within the framework of the second stage of the WCO Technical Mission

Proposals:

⚡️ granting to customs inspectors of discretionary powers, in order to display information on the actions of a particular inspector, which will remain in the system for investigation if necessary.

⚡️ automatic acceptance of declarations into the database in order to prevent the principle of selectivity in the processing of declarations by customs inspectors

⚡️ introduction of a control system for customs clearance (government agencies working at the border, law enforcement agencies control the activities of customs officials and the quality of their data processing)

⚡️ organization of a separate traffic lane for trucks transiting to ports, in particular through the territory of Poland;

⚡️ when exporting goods through the EU: conducting veterinary and phytosanitary control directly at the destination customs offices in order to speed up the border crossing by trucks.
