Report on the results of a survey of 30 citizens: “Friendly Border Monitoring”, April 2023
The purpose of the survey was to obtain feedback from Ukrainian citizens on the quality of services received when crossing the state border between Ukraine and the countries of the European Union and the Republic of Moldova at the entrance to Ukraine.
The tool is a questionnaire in Google form.
Passengers who had crossed the border to enter Ukraine on foot or by car within 30 days prior to the survey and were citizens of Ukraine were invited to participate in the survey.
More than 50 potential respondents were invited, and 30 responses were received.
Most of the refusals were due to people’s reluctance to share their impressions of crossing the border.
The survey was conducted from April 08 to April 18, 2023.
The vast majority of respondents are women aged 20 to 30.
The majority of respondents (11 out of 30) crossed the border at the Rava-Ruska checkpoint (Ukraine-Poland border) and at the Mohyliv-Podilskyi checkpoint (Ukraine-Moldova border) – 9 out of 30 respondents, 6 citizens crossed the border at the Luzhanka checkpoint (Ukraine-Hungary border) and two respondents each crossed the border at the Uzhhorod and Ubl’a checkpoints (Ukraine-Slovakia border).
Most of the surveyed citizens were returning by car.
