Report on the results of a survey of 30 citizens: “Friendly Border Monitoring (Citizens’ Assessments and Expectations)”, May 2023
The purpose of the survey is to obtain feedback from Ukrainian citizens on the quality of services received when crossing the state border between Ukraine and the countries of the European Union and the Republic of Moldova when entering Ukraine.
The tool is a questionnaire in Google form.
Passengers who had crossed the border to enter Ukraine on foot or by car within 30 days prior to the survey and were citizens of Ukraine were invited to participate in the survey.
More than 50 potential respondents were invited, and 30 responses were received.
Most of the refusals were due to people’s reluctance to share their impressions of crossing the border.
The survey was conducted from May 08 to May 25, 2023.
The vast majority of respondents are women aged 20 to 30.
The vast majority of respondents (18 out of 30 respondents) crossed the border at the Mohyliv-Podilskyi checkpoint (Ukraine-Moldova border), 7 passengers traveled through the Rava-Ruska checkpoint, 3 citizens traveled through the Shehyni checkpoint, and one respondent each traveled through the Tysa and Krakovets checkpoints.
Most of the surveyed citizens returned by car (13 respondents).
